Type Designer Book

This is a book about the life and career of type designer Adrian Frutiger. The book was made by me, it’s accordion-folded and includes cover sleeve that slips over the book. The color palette I choose was white, black, and yellow because Frutiger was known for making fonts for signage. I also wanted to showcase his font designs throughout, so I included the letter patterns and

motifs that overlap each other and cover each spread in the book. All the letters are examples of fonts he designed. Since my content is a timeline of Frutiger’s life, the accordion-folded style allows you to open the book up completely from end to end and look at it all at once, like a physical timeline.
